Dragon Express Logistics successfully sailed off MV Diamond Progress
with 161 pcs of 30” OD steel pipes loading at Jurong Port on 30th &
31st March 2006. Despite wet weather on both days, the vessel
managed to turn around within 36 hours. The delay was considered
minimum in view of the weather condition.
Diamond Progress is a brand new gearless box ship with DWT of about
4,200 Tons. The scope of work involved vessel clearance, husbanding
and stevedores. The ship sailed off full with cargoes bound for ISC
and Middle East. This is the first vessel Dragon Express Logistics
has handled on behalf of the owner and is expecting more vessels in
time to come.
